So I discovered the solution. Selecting the trigger activates the ability to change the message being sent for each trigger by clicking the edit messages box 🙂
=) Each object have its own messages, so you need to select one or multiple objects to change messages!
Hi all!
where can i find a IanniX manual or some documentation and tutorial about it?
Thank you!
Hi all,
I’ve tried to run Iannix on Ubuntu 12.04 and it seems that there are compatibility issues with QT versions.
Here is the error log :
Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x40801) with this library (version 0x40804)
Aborted (core dumped)
Does someone has already encountered this type of error ?
Many thanks
Hi!
We didn’t have these problem on Ubuntu because we’re using a clean virtual machine to compile… I saw on Twitter that you succeeded 🙂
You can find some help by opening the Help Panel in IanniX … or have a look at examples!
hi, i am working with max and ppooll. iannix should work great with it. most of the iannix interface speaks for itself. however, when i double click the selected object to edit its message nothing happens (i use a simple curve with one trigger as exemple), should something open up?.
max is seeing iannix but is not receiving anything. any advice? all of the other mouse actions work.
thanks

I’m running an older Macbook under OSX 10.5 Leopard. I downloaded the Leopard (32-bit) version and it will not launch. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The crash report says:

Hi! you can only put messages on triggers and on cursors, not directly on curves 🙂
If it doesn’t open, you can go to Info > Messages > Edit Messages
Thanks for your feedback!
oke, thanks. they dont open on mouseclick, but through the inspector i can get in. i am trying now to figure out how to send the right midi signals. is there possibility to follow a course to get to know the basics of iannix?
henk
Hi!
I answer here (for this post and your previsous email).
MIDI signals can be sent only by triggers (Note on/off) and cursors (but MIDI bad resolution (0-127) is unusable…). What kind of problem do you have?
For IanniX workshops, we’ll organize one in Paris : please pre-register here : https://iannix.org/workshop/en
Thanks for using IanniX!
hi, thanks for the repley. i noticed indeed that trigger and bend/cursor where the only midi signals with useful msgs.
i am working with ppooll environments and want to replace the modulators who control other acts with exterior midisignals so as to keep my cpu level in hand. i guess have to figure out how too get that modulation info into iannix (i am going to try with the learn function perhaps?) it is a matter of trial and error. some acts in ppooll like LFO reacts fine on note on of, some acts stay switched of.
well, i have to learn midi. i wonder if working with osc will make live a little easier?
cheers/henk
hi,
shift-click doesnt work.
selecting objects with the mouse is not possible. i can only select objects thru the inspector.
wich becomes a bit of a nightmare when you have more than 10 objects.
i’m working with the latest iannix version on osx maverick.
Bonjour,
La nouvelle version ne me permette pas d’ouvrier le logiciel Iannix après de le télécharger. Quand j’essaie de l’ouvrier il y a un message: « le développeur n’est pas identifié ». Comment pourrais-je résoudre ce problème? Merci d’avance.
