Ciao Francesco, grazie per la risposta.

Hi Guillame,
Message Editor -> Send Through « Osc Message » -> To Address.
There are 4 possibilities:
1) /trigger – Default address used for trigger
2) /cursor – Default address used for cursor
3) /transport – Default address used for transport
4) /iannix – Default address used to reach Iannix
I don’t understand what are these default addresses (trigger, cursor, transport)
Hi.
I want to send a osc messege when a one of many cursors is at the 70 percent of the curve.
I find the cursor_time_percent value , but I can’t figure out how to make de if statement.
Can you give me a simple example.
Thank´s
Andrés
Oh ok sorry.
Do you often use OSC? In OSC protocol, you must specify an address and by default, we use /cursor for cursors, /trigger for triggers… and so on.
Maybe you can have a look at OSC before to see how it works 🙂
Hi,
You can make an if statement by using this syntax (not easy to read, I agree…). Just replace a standards argument of IanniX message by:
{ (cursor_time_percent > 70)?(cursor_xPos):('suppress') }
This example will send cursor x position when time percent is greater that 70%.
Hi,
Welcome to IanniX’ world 🙂
Edition or selection is not possible in 3D. Maybe you rotated your score. To be sure, press Alt+dble click to reset camera to 2D view.
Thanks for your interest in IanniX!
Hi Guillaume!!
I couldn’t figure out that by myself!!!
By the way, I changed the 70 for a 0.7 to get it working…
{ (cursor_time_percent > 0.7)?(cursor_xPos):(‘suppress’) }
Thank´s
Andrés
Yes. If I open it without creating a score, it opens. But then I can’t make a score and won’t do anything.
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried doing something like DNA in iannix? I’m working on a project but have just started with the program and am not too familiar with java. I think it would be hard to create a 3d spinning model.
Edit: It looks like someone has already done it here!: https://www.iannix.org/en/data/screen1d.jpg
Iannix, since it’s on the website do you have a link to the script?
Thanks,
Sam
Hello!
Yes, this bug is known. We are preparing the new version, with a brand new message management (including transport). So in about 2 weeks, it’ll be fixed!
Keep in touch!
hi all –
congratulations on the new Iannix. it’s a great piece of software. i’m excited to get to ask questions now, also!
i’m currently trying to figure out a way to create an overlapping « trigger »-like space, on top of the curves and cursors.. something like a « zone », while a cursor passes through the zone, the trigger is on, when it leaves the zone, it is off.
i know that a simple way of doing this would be to have two triggers -one at the onset and one at end of the designated zone area – but i’d like to be able to have a more streamlined graphic approach and the ensuing freedoms that would come from this approach..
anyone have any suggestions?
Hello,
I’m trying to compile the last source of Iannix and I’ve got this error in Qt-creator
/home/mathieu/Pixels/IanniX/misc/application.h:6: erreur : QGLWidget: No such file or directory
,
I’m on ubuntustudio 13.04.
I’ve look on internet but everything seems to be ok.
Thanks for help
I’m trying to open message window double-clicking but nothing happened.
It will be easier to press a key when a element is selected or to click on an icon.
It’s also very difficult to select an element, I always use the manager on the right.
Sorry to complain but I would like to use Iannix and I can’t.
Good job
