    Yep sure, my graphic card model is:

    Intel GMA X3100:

    Chipset Model: GMA X3100
    Type: GPU
    Bus: Built-In
    VRAM (Total): 144 MB
    Vendor: Intel (0x8086)

    Anyway, I will try to compile Iannix from the source code, to see if that solves the problem!!
    Thanks!!

    Thanks for the help! I’ll try this out tonight.

    One more question (and this probably shows how much of a noob I am): where doea the 20 come from in your examples? (ie “setMessage current 20”).

    Thanks again!

    It’s a secret!

    20 means “20ms”. The cursor sends OSC each “20 ms”. Simple!

    (so if you need only one info per second, you type setMessage current 1000, ………)

    Hello all,

    Would it be possible to setup the most simple example possible, with one straight and horizontal timeline that would drive the abscissa of points on any other curves of the project ?
    I mean, like a classical example of vertical values versus horizontal time ?

    Thanks,

    Bart

    Hi!

    Do you mean an example like “Script example — Xenakis Metastasis linear” provided in IanniX ?

    I am about to teach a little about Iannix to my class ( I teach at a University in San Francisco), and due to time, etc… I have not had time to totally research everything you need to know about Iannix, and in our case, Iannix with Max/MSP. Is there a very basic tutorial I can follow/ refer to for my class? There is this one,
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z10sYBr3ctg&feature=related
    but even this does not explain in simple enough terms/ give enough basic information. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Yes, it may look like that.

    By the way, are there any means to edit graphically (Bezier or BPF) curves instead of playing with the scripts ?

    I am trying the commands found in the doc for vectorization :

    /////////////
    function onCreate() {

    //Configuration de la vue
    iannix.execute(“clear”);
    iannix.execute(“center 0 0”);
    iannix.execute(“zoom 100”);
    iannix.execute(“rotate 0 0 0”);

    iannix.execute(“add curve 1”);
    iannix.execute(“setPos current 1 2 0”);
    iannix.execute(“setPointsImg current 0.1 ./Examples/trigger_speaker.png”);
    }
    /////////////////
    The result does not show nothing…

    Can you also provide us with a detailed example of the procedure consisting in importing a vectorial path from another app ?

    Thanks,

    Bart

    I’m finding that if I change the orientation of the grid after making objects, ianniX no longer lets me select individual objects (with the hand tool) or add new ones– even after running the “Re-Set Orientation” script. I can select classes or individual objects in the inspector and edit them from there, but that still does not let me add new objects. However, copy and paste seems to work fine, so I can replicate existing objects.

    This only happens sometimes, maybe 2 out of 3 times I open it up (for instance, it seems to be working fine right now, but wasn’t earlier today).

    I’m running ianniX 0.8.35 on an Intel Mac 10.6.8, just in case that helps in any way.

    Thanks for your help in advance– I love the way ianniX functions and it is a great pleasure to use!
