No, I mean Qt by Nokia (http://qt.nokia.com/products/) but I think you’ve installed it…

No, I do not have Qt installed.

While Qt was definitely *not* something I willingly (or consciously for that matter) installed; I do see references to “Qt core” and “Qt gui” in the crash log – so it may indeed be present.

(I’ve tried searching for “Qt SDK,” but there’s no sign of it.)

    Why do you ask ?

If this might be the source of the problem – what is one supposed to do about it ???

got it working! and all I had to do was change the udprecieve port in M4L to 57120, as in the included Max patch example. For anyone else having a similar problem, double check that the OSC in port in Iannix are 2000 and the Raw UDP port is 1234 (ie, the default settings).

Jim, I had a similar problem on a Mac system. Try this –

change the udprecieve port in the M4L patch is set to 57120, also ensure/double check that the OSC in port in Iannix are 2000 and the Raw UDP port is 1234 (ie, the default settings).

There’s no need for LiveOSC or the like… 🙂

    Hope this helps!

Ok. We’re preparing a new version (not a lot of new features, simply bug correction) and I’ve fixed some bugs with Undo/Save/Load mechanism. I’ll be available soon (beginning of September).

Hmmm no, you’re not supposed to have this. But I know that people how have Qt installed (an old version) can have problems.

I opened a few days ago IanniX on Leopard (10.5.8) and it works. Why don’t you upgrade your system with free upgrades? I don’t know if this upgrade will let you open IanniX but maybe it could fix some issues…

I’m sorry that we change the OSC port from 2001 to 57120 in last version but in Supercollider, the port is 57120 and you can’t change it. So to be compatible, we change all the examples…
