Hi,
I am trying to sync Iannix as master with another DAW. I only found a solution to send “global_time_verbose” via OSC.
The problem is that this parameter is received as a text value. So I have to deal with converting this to a usable timecode format.
Is there another way to output the scores timecode in another way, for example as MidiClock or MTC? This would make things much easier.
And as far as I understood, I have to use a cursor and create a message which sends this value. Is it possible to enable something like a global
output of the timecode, so it is not bound to running cursor?
Thanks lot, kind regards,
Christian

Hello Christian,
We had implemented the MTC at the time, but IanniX not being set on a BPM, there were errors and inaccuracies. On the other hand, the “Song Position Pointer” (MIDI SPP) is well supported (just tested with Ableton Live).
