Hi,
Is there a way to map pitch (e.g., in Midicents) or frequency (in Hertz), and time (e.g., in Miliseconds), to the y and x axes of IanniX’s UI, respectively? More specifically, I would like to map the y position of Triggers and Curves either to pitch or frequency, and to map the x position to time both as onset(attack) and duration in a precise way, and use such mapping(s) to compose with IanniX.
Any hints or insights on this issue would be much appreciated.
All the best,
António
Hi,
You may have a look at the example “Xenakis Metastaseis linear” which is basically a time/frequency-based score. Be aware IanniX never generate sound, it only sends data to another software.
Hi,
Thank you for the input, I have far better grasp now of what I need to do…
Happy new year to everyone at Buzzing Light.
All the best,
