Hi,
I am new to Iannix and I have many doubts but one of them is making me curious. As far as I know, Iannix only sends (and receives) messages from OSC, UDP, TCP or MIDI. But when I try the example scores (like Rosette), it is making sound. I think that the triggers are generating sound, but when I inspect the messages, it seems that it only sends OSC messages to port 57120 on host 127.0.0.1, but I don’t have any other program running on my computer expecting OSC on that port. What is happening? (I am using Windows 10).
Hi,
Yes you’re true, IanniX only sends/receives OSC messages, you need to plug your own synth/patch/visual effects… in an other software. That’s why we provide Max patch, Pd patch or Processing example to illustrate how IanniX can control theses software.
