Hello,
I just bought a MacBookPro with Lion (MacOSX 10.7) installed (not an upgrade from Snow Leopard) and I wonder if latest Iannix release (v0.8.21 for MacOSX 10/5+) is compatible.
I went through another post “Max OSX compatibility” (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5) but it covers up to Snow Leopard (10.6.x) only, not Lion (10.7).
I fully understand MacOSX Lion is new and that could require additional testing.
I am ready to be a beta tester if needed even if not so confortable with the build of release: I am ready to learn and would be happy to help on such a nice project.
I am new on Iannix, so maybe I have misunderstood some parts: at least I would like to ensure if current release has been approved on MacOSX Lion.
Mostly I will be using Iannix with Max For Live.
Cheers.
Hi!
I also upgrade to Lion and IanniX works with PureData, MaxMSP or Processing. I didn’t test with other software but I’m quite sure that I’ll work (because OpenSoundControl is independent from the OS…).
Hi Guillaume,
Thanks for the quick reply and happy about this confirmation 🙂
Cheers,
